Currently, Walmart lists it for .99, allowing gamers to purchase the entire game along with some snacks instead of opting for the Skate skin.
This crossover is particularly frustrating given the uncertain future of the Dead Space franchise. With EA Motive being integrated into Battlefield Studios to contribute to the development of Battlefield 6, the likelihood of seeing more of Isaac Clarke in the near future appears slim. While players may consider purchasing the cardboard cosplay skin in Skate, it lacks the thrill of battling alien zombies.
Should this collaboration entice new players to explore Dead Space for the first time, it could yield a positive outcome. Yet, at present, it feels like an overpriced and underwhelming addition, leaving fans yearning for a more promising future for the Dead Space series.
