Features and Bug Fixes

Copper Chest

The introduction of copper chests marks a significant enhancement in item management. Players can summon a copper golem to acquire their first copper chest, which can be left to oxidize or preserved with wax. This innovative storage solution allows players to drop items into a copper chest, where the copper golem will efficiently sort them into standard chests around the base.

  • Copper Chests feature both waxed and oxidized variants.
  • They oxidize over time and can be waxed like other Copper blocks.
  • Crafting requires a Chest and Copper Ingots.

Copper Equipment

Copper now serves as a bridge between stone and iron, with the ability to craft tools, weapons, and armor from this versatile ore. While these items won’t oxidize like copper blocks, they maintain an aesthetic appeal.

  • Copper armor offers higher durability than leather but less than iron, with enchantability slightly lower than that of iron.
  • Smelting copper equipment yields Copper Nuggets.
  • Hostile monsters may spawn wearing Copper Armor.
  • Hostile monsters can also wield Copper Weapons and Armor.
  • New Copper Horse Armor has been added, boasting the same loot table and generation chances as Iron Horse Armor, with an armor toughness of 4.

Copper Golem

The copper golem emerges as a charming companion, designed to enhance organization within player bases. Summoned using copper and carved pumpkins, this helpful creature sorts items left in copper chests, distributing them according to type.

  • Upon defeat, the Copper Golem drops between 1 and 3 Copper Ingots.
  • It assists in item sorting into chests.
  • Once fully oxidized, it transforms into a Copper Golem Statue Block, freezing in a random pose.
  • Players can interact with the Copper Golem to drop any item it may be holding.
  • Iron Golems may occasionally plant decorative flowers on nearby Copper Golems.

Copper Golem Item Sorting

  • The Copper Golem will seek out nearby Copper Chests to pick up items if it is not currently holding anything.
  • It can collect a maximum of 16 items at a time.
  • When holding an item, it will search for nearby chests to place the item in.
  • The Golem will attempt to visit up to 10 chests in sequence for item placement or collection.
  • If it cannot find a matching chest, it will idle for 7 seconds before trying again.
  • The search area extends horizontally 32 blocks and vertically 8 blocks from its position.

Copper Golem Statue Block

  • This new decorative block comes in waxed and oxidized variants.
  • It oxidizes over time and can be waxed like other Copper blocks.
  • Players can change the pose of the block through interaction.
  • When connected to a Redstone Comparator, it emits a signal based on its current pose.

Copper Decorations

  • New Copper Torch: A green variant crafted from a Copper Nugget, Coal, and Stick, functionally identical to the standard torch.
  • New Copper Bars: Similar to existing Iron Bars, made from copper and subject to oxidation.
  • New Copper Chain: Functions like the existing Chain block, now renamed to Iron Chain, and made from copper.
  • New Copper Lantern: Crafted using Copper and a Copper Torch, it oxidizes over time while maintaining functionality.

Shelf

  • The Shelf is a new decorative block available in various wood types, including Oak, Spruce, Birch, and more.
  • Crafted from six matching blocks of Stripped Log or Block of Stripped Bamboo, producing six shelves.
  • It can store up to three item stacks and displays all contained items in front.
  • When powered by Redstone, its front texture changes, and it can connect with adjacent powered shelves.
  • Shelf storage affects a Comparator’s output signal based on occupied slots.

Accessibility

  • Dye Colors now feature updated icons to enhance visual cohesion while supporting colorblind accessibility.
  • Text to Speech support has been added to all Dressing Room pages.

Blocks

  • Blocks that could catch fire with Flint and Steel will now also ignite during fire explosions.
  • Glass Blocks will now catch fire with Flint and Steel or fire explosions.
  • Various bugs related to water placement and block destruction have been addressed.

Gameplay

  • Entities will no longer be misplaced when traveling through Nether portals.
  • Several gameplay-related bugs have been fixed, enhancing overall experience.

User Interface

  • Numerous adjustments have been made to improve the user interface, including icon resizing and bug fixes.
  • A new Minecraft Profile Pic feature has been introduced, showcasing the character’s appearance.
