Nintendo Store App Revolutionizes Shopping Experience for Gamers

Nintendo products, games, and consoles are now more widely available than ever, thanks to the video game giant releasing the Nintendo Store app on Apple (iOS) and Android devices. The app makes the shopping experience much easier for gamers, especially those on the hunt for the top-selling Switch 2. You can purchase both physical and digital games from the eShop, and even receive notifications when items go on sale.

One of the most interesting features of the app is the ability to closely monitor your playtime. You can track what games you’ve played, when you played them, and for how long. This data includes information from not only the Switch 2, but also the original Switch, the Nintendo 3DS, and Wii U (up to February 2020).

Previously, players could only access this information by setting up parental controls. Now, with the Nintendo Store app, it’s easier than ever to keep track of your gaming habits.

In addition to tracking playtime, the app also allows users to stay up-to-date with all the latest Nintendo news, events, and more. You can even enable push notifications for discounts on items in your Wish List, perfect for holiday shopping.

It’s important to note that the app will open a page on your device’s default web browser when products are selected, rather than allowing you to complete purchases in-app. To access all features, a Nintendo account and network ID are required.

The Nintendo Store app originally launched in Japan as ‘My Nintendo’ five years ago, and has now expanded to other regions under its new name. Gamers in the UK, US, Canada, and most of Europe can now enjoy the convenience and features of the Nintendo Store app.
