Pocketpair Announces ‘Palworld Online’ for iOS and Android

Palworld Online Is A Mobile MMORPG

Pocketpair’s survival-crafting hit is expanding again, this time with Palworld Online, a mobile MMO heading to iOS and Android in 2026. The project was unveiled through Garena’s official Palworld Online announcement. Rather than bringing the existing version of Palworld directly to phones, it is being described as an open-world MMORPG.

Palworld Online will translate the series’ familiar creature-collecting formula into a massively multiplayer mobile game. Players can expect to encounter Pals, explore an open world, gather resources, and engage with survival mechanics while sharing the experience with a larger online community. According to Garena, the game will feature a seamless, interconnected open world built with online and co-op systems for an MMO experience.

“Palworld is a widely recognized IP, and we see an opportunity to bring the essence of the PC title to mobile in a way that encourages players to connect and venture together,” said Terry Zhao, President at Garena.

Garena is best known for its mega-hit battle royale Free Fire. The company possesses extensive experience in global publishing, localization, and regional live operations for large-scale online multiplayer games across Southeast Asia and other global regions.

“Garena has extensive experience in global publishing, localisation, and live operations for mobile games,” said Takuro Mizobe, CEO of Pocketpair.

The concept makes plenty of sense. Palworld already combines monster collecting with base building, crafting, exploration, and combat systems that naturally fit a persistent online environment. The real challenge will be adapting that complexity to touchscreen controls without making the experience feel overly simplified or weighed down by typical mobile design compromises.

A 2026 Release Is Planned

Palworld Online is currently scheduled to launch on iOS and Android sometime in 2026. However, Garena and Pocketpair have not provided a precise release date. Palworld Online could be a strong fit for mobile, particularly if it preserves the freedom and unpredictable creature interactions that helped the original game stand out. A persistent MMO structure could make its world feel even more active.

TL; DR: Palworld Online is coming to iOS and Android; it is designed as a mobile MMO, and its launch is planned for 2026.
