Razer PC Remote Play finally launches, will let gamers stream PC games to iOS, Android, and Windows mobile devices

Experience PC Gaming on Your Mobile Device with Razer PC Remote Play

Want to put that Razer Kishi Ultra Controller to good use? Good news, because Razer has just announced the official launch of Razer PC Remote Play, which allows users to stream PC games to their mobile devices while using the controller.

Initially introduced in beta at CES 2025, the platform is now ready and has been updated with several features for performance and overall usability.

The latest update includes an automatic optimisation feature which ensures that the streamed gameplay matches the device’s maximum resolution and refresh rate. This should eliminate any black bars from appearing during gameplay and allow for a smoother and more immersive experience. Additionally, the platform now includes support for the AV1 video codec, which should enhance video quality and reduce latency during gameplay.

In terms of compatibility, Razer PC Remote Play is available for iOS, Android, and Windows devices running at least iOS 18, Android 14, and Windows 10 and 11.

Furthermore, for those who game on an iPad, users can take advantage of the keyboard, mouse, and trackpad functionality for a more versatile gaming experience. This makes the iPad a great option for gamers who are thinking of using Razer PC Remote Play to play first-person shooters.

Through the Razer Nexus app, users can browse, configure, and launch PC games directly from their mobile devices. The app also allows for control customisation, gameplay recording, and controller updates.

For Android users with Razer Kishi Ultra controllers, the platform introduces Razer Sensa HD Haptics, which provides haptic feedback that’s synced with in-game actions.

Setting up Razer PC Remote Play

To set up Razer PC Remote Play, users will need to install the Razer Nexus and Razer PC Remote Play on their mobile devices, enable Remote Play via Razer Cortex on their PC, and sign in with a Razer ID. Once connected, users can stream their entire PC game library directly to their mobile devices. According to Razer, the platform currently supports game streaming from Steam, Epic Games, and Microsoft’s PC Game Pass, and is compatible with mobile devices running at least iOS 18, Android 14+, and Windows 10 and 11.

Razer PC Remote Play works with the Kishi Ultra Controller and also other iOS and Android compatible controllers. The Razer Kishi Ultra Controller is S9 and you can find it on Lazada, Shopee, and Razer’s website here.
