Steel Seed has been delayed to April 22nd, gets PC requirements

ESDigital Games and Storm in a Teacup have announced a slight postponement for their much-anticipated stealth-action adventure, Steel Seed, now set to launch on April 22nd, rather than the initially scheduled date of April 10th. This brief delay is intended to provide developers with additional time to enhance game optimization, ensuring a smoother experience for players upon release.

Ilia Svanidze, Head of Marketing at ESDigital Games, expressed gratitude for the community’s enthusiasm since the game’s announcement. In a recent statement, he acknowledged the excitement surrounding the title, emphasizing the importance of delivering a polished product across all platforms. He noted, “We encountered some technical hurdles related to platform adaptation when running our platform certification tests. Rather than rushing the console release and risking a potentially substandard console user experience that requires swift patching, we have made the difficult, but necessary decision to delay the launch.”

Svanidze further reassured players that the extra time would be utilized to refine the game, stating, “Our goal is to ensure that all players, regardless of platform, enjoy a polished and seamless experience. We are committed to delivering the best possible experience for our players.”
