Tactics RPG ‘Demonschool’ Out Today on PC, Consoles [Trailer]

After a brief delay from its initial September launch window, Demonschool, the much-anticipated tactics RPG developed by Necrosoft Games and published by Ysbryd Games, has officially made its debut across multiple platforms. Players can now immerse themselves in this Persona-inspired adventure on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, as well as on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch. To celebrate the launch, Steam users can enjoy a 10% discount, available until December 3.

Embark on a Supernatural Journey

Step into the shoes of Faye, a college freshman and the last heir of a storied demon-hunting lineage. As the narrative unfolds, players will navigate a world teetering on the brink of a demonic apocalypse, engaging in supernatural investigations and tactical battles alongside a diverse cast of allies. The game artfully blends elements of stylish giallo films and Japanese horror manga, creating a visually captivating environment where players will face not only formidable foes but also the trials of college life, including pop quizzes and karaoke sessions.

In true Persona fashion, players will have the opportunity to befriend 15 unique characters, each contributing their strengths to the party. Forming deep connections will unlock powerful combos during battles, enhancing the gameplay experience. Master Faye’s dynamic kicks and Varka’s chain abilities as you tackle a variety of challenges. Engage in side quests and training sessions to refine your allies’ skills, ultimately crafting an unstoppable team.

The combat system features a chess-like grid where players maneuver their party members through intense battles. During the Planning phase, strategize your teammates’ movements to unleash their abilities in the subsequent Action phase. For those who appreciate precision, the game offers unlimited rewinds, allowing players to perfect their strategies and witness the unfolding of each combo in a synchronized display of teamwork.

As players delve deeper into the narrative, they will confront gruesome ghouls and colossal bosses, all while seeking the truth behind the impending apocalypse. With 13 different endings to explore, the journey promises to be as varied as it is thrilling.
