Touhou Spell Carnival Game’s PC Version Launches on May 7

On Wednesday, Idea Factory International unveiled plans to bring the much-anticipated game Touhou Spell Carnival to PC users via Steam, with a scheduled release date of May 7. This announcement follows the game’s successful launch in North America on November 19, where it became available both digitally and physically for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4. In Europe, players enjoyed a simultaneous digital release, while the physical edition made its debut on December 3.

Special Editions and Features

For enthusiasts looking to enhance their gaming experience, the title offers a Digital Deluxe edition that features a digital art book and a captivating soundtrack. Additionally, a Limited Edition is available, which includes a collector’s box, intricately designed figures of Reimu and Marisa, a 56-page hardcover artbook, a 52-track soundtrack, a reversible cover sleeve, and an exclusive trading card.

The game is designed to cater to a broad audience, featuring Japanese audio alongside text options in English, French, and Spanish (Spain). Following its international rollout, Touhou Spell Carnival is set to launch in Japan for the same platforms in June 2024, after a brief delay from its initial April 2024 schedule.
