Why install multiple AI chatbots when one will do?
As I scroll through the apps on my phone, I find myself surrounded by a collection of AI chatbots: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity. While this assortment is essential for testing purposes, it’s not a necessity for everyone. Enter AI Hub, a remarkable open-source platform that consolidates a multitude of AI services and chatbots into a single, user-friendly interface.
AI Hub serves as a web wrapper, simplifying navigation across 78 different AI services. This impressive array includes both lesser-known tools and well-established names like ChatGPT, DeepSeek, DuckDuckGo’s Duck AI, and Grok. Users can easily filter or search for specific chatbots, and the app allows multiple bots to run simultaneously in the background, making it ideal for side-by-side comparisons of outputs. Upon reopening the app, users are greeted with the last bot they accessed, enhancing the overall experience.
Privacy is a significant focus for AI Hub. While chatbots often raise concerns regarding discretion, this app strives to clarify the privacy policies of various services. It categorizes them as free, freemium, or paid, and highlights which options are safe for private use with labels like “Privacy friendly” and “Privacy focused.” This is particularly beneficial for those unfamiliar with the chatbot landscape beyond the more popular options.
Moreover, AI Hub takes user privacy a step further by blocking trackers and ads whenever possible and offering the option to disable third-party cookies. While some services may not function optimally without cookies, the developer’s commitment to user choice is commendable. Although I wouldn’t recommend AI Hub as the primary gateway for users with established accounts on specific chatbots, it serves as an excellent resource for anyone seeking a diverse range of options without the hassle of navigating multiple apps or web browsers.

Other new AI apps and services you should know!
In addition to AI Hub, several other noteworthy AI applications and services have emerged:
Off Grid
Off Grid is another free and open-source AI application that enables users to run and process data locally on their devices. This app allows users to choose from various models to download or import their own, with suggestions tailored to their device’s capabilities. Users can employ these models as chat applications for tasks such as image generation or data analysis. For advanced users, Off Grid offers features like project creation and remote server connections, all while functioning entirely offline for enhanced security.
Yaps
Yaps presents a unique solution as an Android keyboard app designed to transform disordered dictation into polished text. All processing occurs on-device, ensuring user privacy. In my experience, Yaps outperformed Gboard’s dictation capabilities, delivering quicker and more contextually accurate results. The app tracks dictation statistics, including time saved compared to typing, and supports five languages: English, Spanish, French, German, and Portuguese. While Yaps is free for the first week or until 1,000 words are processed, users will need to subscribe for continued access, with options for weekly or annual plans.
DealHunt
DealHunt, owned by Authority Media, simplifies the process of evaluating tech deals. By entering a product URL, users can receive insights on current pricing compared to historical data, including typical prices and all-time lows. DealHunt also aggregates product variants, making it easier to select options like colorways, and predicts the likelihood of future price drops. Its standout feature, the DealHunt Score, quantifies the quality of current deals based on various data points, aiding users in making informed purchasing decisions.
