[Accounts]
- A new entry point has been added to the account control on the Start menu, providing direct access to the benefits page at account.microsoft.com. This enhancement simplifies the exploration and management of benefits associated with your Microsoft account.
[Game Pass]

Fixes gradually being rolled out to the Dev Channel with toggle on*
[File Explorer]
- Addressed an issue that could cause File Explorer to display a Catastrophic Error (0x8000FFFF) when extracting large archive files (1.5GB+).
- Resolved a problem that occasionally caused an old white toolbar to appear unexpectedly in File Explorer.
[Display and Graphics]
- Fixed a recent issue that resulted in videos and games displaying in an unexpected red hue.
- Corrected a problem where apps and browsers might show partially stuck content when other maximized or full-screen applications were updating in the background.
- Enhanced performance when apps query monitors for their full list of supported modes, reducing stuttering on high-resolution displays.
[Windows Update]
- Fixed an issue that could prevent updates from installing, resulting in error 0x800f0983.
[Other]
- Resolved a hang that could affect Outlook when prompted for credentials, making the pop-up unresponsive.
- Fixed an issue causing Remote Credential Guard scenarios to fail between the latest Windows 11 builds and Server 2022 (and earlier versions).
- Addressed a problem that caused the print preview screen to become unresponsive in Chromium-based browsers.
Known issues
[General]
- [NEW] Text actions utilizing Phi Silica in Click to Do and Recall may not function correctly in this build. A fix is forthcoming.
[Taskbar & System Tray]
- New animations for taskbar previews have been temporarily disabled due to interference with window sharing from previews; updates will be provided when they are reintroduced.
- [NEW] An ongoing investigation addresses an issue preventing the Start menu from opening for some Insiders with a click, although it remains accessible via the Windows key. This issue may also affect the notification center (accessible with WIN + N).
[File Explorer]
- In dark mode, the copy progress dialog may flash when users click for more or fewer details.
- In dark mode, the scrollbar and footer may be missing, displaying a white block instead when text is scaled in the copy dialog.
[Gaming]
- Some Insiders are encountering issues where using an Xbox Controller via Bluetooth leads to a bugcheck on their PC. To resolve this, users can uninstall the driver named “oemXXX.inf (XboxGameControllerDriver.inf)” through Device Manager.
Reminders for Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel
- Insiders in the Dev Channel receive updates based on Windows 11, version 25H2 via an enablement package (Build 26220.xxxx).
- Many features in the Dev Channel are rolled out using Controlled Feature Rollout technology, starting with a subset of Insiders and gradually expanding as feedback is monitored.
- For those eager to receive features gradually rolled out to you, ensure the toggle is set to ON for the latest updates via Settings > Windows Update. Features will be rolled out over time to those with the toggle activated.
- Features and experiences included in these builds may not be released widely, as they are subject to change based on feedback. Some may appear in future Windows releases when they’re ready.
- Localization of features in active development may not be complete; feedback on localization issues can be reported through the Feedback Hub.
- Note that some accessibility features may not function with features like Recall and Click to Do during the preview phase.
- As the Dev and Beta Channels represent parallel development paths, features may appear in the Beta Channel before the Dev Channel.
- For a comprehensive overview of which build is in which Insider channel, refer to Flight Hub.
Thanks,
Amanda
