Netflix subscribers can enjoy the full mobile experience on iOS and Android starting December 4, 2025.
Rockstar Games is bringing the critically acclaimed Western classic Red Dead Redemption to a wide range of platforms, including Netflix Games, iOS, Android, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2, with a launch date set for December 2, 2025. This highly anticipated release includes not only the base game but also the beloved “Undead Nightmare” DLC, along with bonus content from the Game of the Year Edition.
Netflix subscribers will be able to play the full mobile port of Red Dead Redemption on compatible iOS and Android devices starting December 4, 2025, marking the game’s first official mobile release. The mobile version comes with adapted controls for smaller screens, providing an accessible way to experience the epic story of John Marston. The game on Netflix will be free to play for subscribers, though in-app purchases may be available.
On consoles, the release features significant enhancements. Players on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S can expect smooth gameplay at 60 frames per second, enhanced image quality, HDR support, and resolutions up to 4K. Meanwhile, the Nintendo Switch 2 version will offer 60 FPS gameplay at high resolution, DLSS support, HDR, and mouse control compatibility. Existing owners of Red Dead Redemption on PS4, Xbox One, and the original Nintendo Switch will receive free digital upgrades to these new versions, complete with the option to carry over their saved data.
This release expands accessibility to a new generation and platform range, allowing both longtime fans and newcomers to experience the rich narrative and frontier adventure of Red Dead Redemption anywhere, from high-end consoles to mobile devices via Netflix’s game platform. The new versions were developed in collaboration with Double Eleven and Cast Iron Games and will also be available through the GTA+ Games Library and PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue.
