Red Dead Redemption Launches on Android and iOS via Netflix Games

Red Dead Redemption Now Available on Mobile

Netflix subscribers can head to the Netflix Games section on Android or iOS to download Red Dead Redemption. The mobile version comes with several improvements, including enhanced visuals, performance mode support on select devices, and updated controls designed for touchscreen gameplay. Players will also get access to the Undead Nightmare expansion and bonus content that was originally bundled in the Game of the Year Edition.

Rockstar says players can carry over their existing saves from previous-generation consoles, making it easier for returning fans to pick up where they left off.

Undead Nightmare Expansion Included

Alongside the main game, Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare is also available on mobile and consoles. The standalone expansion takes place in an alternate storyline where a zombie outbreak spreads across the American frontier. Players once again step into the role of John Marston as he searches for a cure while fending off infected towns and settlements.

Updated Versions for Current-Gen Consoles

For console players, the latest release brings several upgrades. Red Dead Redemption now supports HDR, improved image quality, and resolutions up to 4K on supported platforms. Owners of the game on last-generation consoles can upgrade digitally at no extra cost.

The Nintendo Switch 2 version includes support for HDR, DLSS, and optional mouse controls when using the new Joy-Con 2 controllers.

Apart from Netflix Games, Red Dead Redemption has also been added to the GTA+ Games Library and the PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue, giving subscribers on those platforms another way to access the title.
