Modders made a Fallout 4 quest in a weekend for charity, and it features iconic Elder Scrolls actor Wes Johnson

A new mod for Fallout 4, titled Double Feature, marks the fourth collaboration between renowned modders Kinggath and his team, alongside the iconic voice actor Wes Johnson, known for his work on characters such as Molag Bal and Sheogorath. This project also features contributions from Fallout actors Jan Johns and Leer Leary. The mod is part of Kinggath’s annual charity initiative, which has previously yielded successful mods like Shady Motives and Trunk’s Malfunction.

Fundraising Success

The fundraising effort associated with this mod aims to support Alzheimer’s research and has already surpassed expectations, raising over ,000 to date, with a target of ,000 in sight. This achievement is particularly impressive considering the original goal was set at ,500. When combined with the contributions from other modders involved in the campaign, the total amount raised climbs to an impressive ,895.

Wes Johnson, who has shown enthusiasm for various RPG fan projects, appears especially passionate about the cause of ending Alzheimer’s disease. His involvement in this mod is part of a larger initiative called Voiceapalooza, a collaboration with the Fallout For Hope charity, further emphasizing his commitment to the cause.

Players interested in experiencing the Double Feature mod can find it available for free on its Nexus page. As with previous charity mods created during this event, the development was completed in just a weekend, showcasing the dedication and talent of the modding community.

The Kinggath Creations website highlights not only this latest mod but also other projects from the modders, including previous charity efforts and larger downloadable content available through Bethesda’s creations library. Among these is the well-known Sim Settlements mod for Fallout 4, which garnered acclaim in 2017 when PC Gamer’s Christopher Livingston described it as “so good it should be an official part of the game.”
