This innovative installation allows users to run a full Android system alongside the tablet’s original Linux-based software, rather than replacing it entirely.
Seamless Transition Between Interfaces
On the 11.8-inch color E Ink notebook, users can effortlessly switch between the original note-taking interface and Android in approximately 20 seconds, simply by double-tapping the power button. Raqami initiated this project using Android 12, taking into account the device’s specifications, which include 2GB of RAM and a 1.8 GHz Cortex-A53 quad-core processor. After stabilizing the earlier version, he transitioned to Android 13, which proved to be more compatible with modern applications while maintaining efficient use of the hardware.
Enhanced Functionality
The addition of Android opens up a wealth of features that the standard software lacks. Users can now enjoy:
