1997 PC Game ‘Blood’ Has Been Remastered By Nightdive Studios, And It Hits Xbox This Week

Nightdive Studios is set to make a significant splash in the gaming world with the upcoming release of Blood: Refreshed Supply on December 4th, 2025, exclusively for Xbox. This remastered edition breathes new life into a beloved classic, inviting both long-time fans and newcomers to embark on a thrilling journey.

Reviving a Cult Classic

The game follows an undead gunslinger on a relentless quest for vengeance, traversing through 42 levels that are rich with a Lovecraftian ambiance. Originally launched to favorable reviews, the game has since garnered a dedicated following, solidifying its status as a cult classic.

Things are about to get… bloody! Soak up 42 pulse-pounding levels dripping with Lovecraftian atmosphere as you battle your way through armies of sycophantic cultists, zombies, gargoyles, hell hounds, and other insatiable horrors, in your quest to defeat the loathsome Tchernobog. Grab your Pitchfork and get ready to stab your way through 42 blood-soaked levels, while unlocking even more creative and effective implements of destruction along the way. Incinerate foes with weapons like the Flare Gun, Aerosol Can, and Napalm Launcher. Blast enemies straight to hell bundles of dynamite, shoot them full of holes with the Tommy Gun and Sawed-Off Shotgun, or tap into darker methods of annihilation with the game’s powerful Voodoo Doll and Life Leech offerings.

Nightdive Studios previously remastered Blood in 2019 under the title “Fresh Supply,” but that version was limited to PC. The new Refreshed Supply edition introduces a plethora of enhancements, making it a much-anticipated addition to the console gaming landscape.
