Absolum launches on iOS and Android November 5

Playdigious to Release Absolum for iOS and Android

Playdigious, in collaboration with Dotemu, Guard Crush Games, and Supamonks, is set to launch Absolum for iOS on the App Store and Android on Google Play on November 5. The game, which was initially released on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on October 9, 2025, followed by an Xbox Series release on March 25, 2026, will soon be available to mobile gamers.

Absolum is a roguelite side-scrolling beat ’em up game that takes place in the fantasy world of Talamh, where magic has been outlawed by Sun King Azra and enforced by the Crimson Order. Players can choose to fight as one of four heroes — Galandra, Karl, Brome, and Cider — each with their own unique combat styles. The game offers a mix of arcade-style combat and roguelite progression, allowing players to develop new strategies and grow their character’s power across multiple playthroughs in various environments.

The soundtrack for Absolum was composed by Gareth Coker, known for his work on games like Ori, Halo Infinite, and Prince of Persia. The mobile version of the game will feature online two-player coop, where players can team up to unleash powerful elemental attacks and chain combos. Additionally, the mobile build will include a revamped touch-first user interface, Game Center and Google Play Games achievements, and controller compatibility.

Android users will have the option for “buy once, play anywhere” cross-progression tied to their Google Play Games accounts, while both iOS and Android will support Cloud Save, allowing players to transfer their progress between devices. The game’s development credits remain consistent across all platforms, with Dotemu, Guard Crush Games, and Supamonks listed as developers alongside Playdigious.

The mobile release of Absolum brings the same core content and online coop features from the console and PC versions to mobile devices, with added touch controls, achievements, controller support, and cross-progression/cloud save options for players using a Google Play Games account.
