Commodore emphasizes the significance of the Alien Breed franchise, stating, “It is a cornerstone of the Commodore Amiga library. As part of our mission as a Public Benefit Corporation to preserve gaming history and expand access and awareness, we’re proud to publish the Alien Breed 35th Anniversary Collection. Everyone should feel the terror we’ve felt in our chests (praying and praying it was just anxiety, not a growing parasite).”

A Treasure Trove of Content

The collection includes:

  1. Alien Breed
  2. Alien Breed: Special Edition 92
  3. Alien Breed 2: The Horror Continues
  4. Alien Breed: Tower Assault

  6. The Killing Grounds

Additionally, players will gain access to a virtual museum showcasing original physical media, marketing assets, soundtracks, developer interviews, and insights into cancelled projects such as Alien Breed for the Sony PSP and Alien Breed RTS.

Scheduled for release on September 24, the Alien Breed 35th Anniversary Collection will be available on Steam, GoG, and the Epic Games Store, as well as on Xbox and PlayStation. Nintendo Switch users can look forward to its arrival later in Fall 2026. Interested gamers can already add the title to their Steam wish list.

This initiative aligns with the company’s retro • futurism mission, hinting at more exciting developments on the horizon.
