Originally launching with four unlockable friendship hearts per character, the game has expanded to include ten heart cutscenes for datable characters. This enhancement allows for deeper connections and more engaging storylines.

Players can now take their relationships to the next level by choosing a partner to marry and start a family with. The delightful sight of your partner carrying your child adds a heartwarming touch to the gameplay.

The Saturday Market has expanded with the addition of two new merchants, Stillwell and Zorel, offering fresh opportunities for players to explore.

Should you start a new save for 1.0?

There’s no need to start a new save file for the 1.0 launch. The major changes primarily extend the story, ensuring a seamless experience for those continuing from year three or four. Players can dive back into the game without feeling out of place, as the new content integrates smoothly with their previous progress. Additionally, all new achievements will be earned retroactively based on existing gameplay.

What if you haven’t played since the early access launch?

For those who have been away since the early access phase, the updates bring a plethora of new features and enhancements that enrich the gameplay experience. The official blog outlines numerous highlights, including:

🎮 Gameplay

  • Unlocking Stillwell will allow you to access Mission Quests from his Mission Board at the Saturday Market.
  • Unlocking Zorel will allow you to purchase Crystal Resonators and Song Crystals at the Saturday Market, enabling customization of the music that plays on your farm and in your home.
  • The exterior of your house can now be customized from a selection of styles after it’s been fully upgraded.
    • Note: You will receive a letter from Landen after fully upgrading your house, which will unlock this feature in the Carpenter’s Shop.
  • 7 new perks have been added to the game, enhancing various gameplay aspects.
  • The “Engagement Ring” item will now become craftable at a Forge after reaching 10 Hearts with an NPC you’re dating.
    • Note: Elsie will deliver the recipe to you the morning after reaching Heart Level 10. Use the recipe scroll to unlock it.
  • Elements of your wedding can be customized via wedding planning dialogue with your fiancé.
  • The “Mystical Feather” item will now become available via a cutscene in the weeks following your marriage, allowing for family planning discussions.
  • New storylines and requests have been added, enriching the overall gameplay experience.

  • The player character can now be rotated in the customization menu.
  • Players can disable break-up letters and status changes post-engagement.
  • Drop rates on items received from Mines treasure chests have been improved.
