Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue is set to make its Asian debut at Green Canvas within the Mandai Wildlife Reserve, running from 24 April to 13 September 2026. Following successful launches in Dallas, London, and Toronto, this immersive and interactive experience invites participants of all ages to embark on a thrilling journey through eight distinct rooms, all in a bid to save a village from a relentless zombie siege.

The Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue offers an engaging indoor escapade that complements the wildlife exploration opportunities at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, creating a unique combination of immersive play and family entertainment.
Immersive, interactive experience
The experience features large-scale projections, theatrical sets, motion-tracking gameplay, and captivating storytelling. Visitors will step into the Minecraft Forest, traverse familiar biomes, gather essential resources, and interact with iconic Minecraft mobs. Each participant is equipped with a unique “Orb of Interaction,” allowing them to influence their surroundings and impact the outcome of their quest.

After completing their heroic journey, players can commemorate their achievements at the Minecraft Experience: Trading Post, where they can take home a special keepsake. Additionally, those who successfully finish the quest will earn a coveted in-game cape as a reward.

In 2024, Merlin Entertainments announced its collaboration with Minecraft creator Mojang Studios to develop location-based entertainment (LBE) experiences inspired by the video game. These attractions are expected to open between 2026 and 2027, either within Merlin’s existing theme parks or as new attractions in urban centers.
