KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS, in partnership with Nixxes Software, has officially unveiled that the much-anticipated DEATH STRANDING 2: ON THE BEACH will be available on PC starting March 19, 2026. Enthusiasts can begin pre-purchasing the game today via Steam and the Epic Games Store. The announcement was accompanied by a captivating trailer, which can be viewed on YouTube.
Game Features and Enhancements
This standalone sequel introduces players to an expanded arsenal of tools, weapons, and vehicles at Sam’s disposal. Accompanied by his allies from DRAWBRIDGE, Sam embarks on a new quest to connect Australia to the Chiral network. As he navigates this treacherous landscape, he will face formidable enemies and natural calamities, including earthquakes, sandstorms, and forest fires, all while contending with the perilous Timefall. The game’s innovative Social Strand System returns, fostering connections among players worldwide, allowing them to influence one another’s experiences.
Players can expect an immersive experience, enhanced by support for Ultrawide monitors, including 21:9 and 32:9 formats, all rendered in stunning 4K resolution. The PC version of DEATH STRANDING 2: ON THE BEACH offers flexibility in gameplay, featuring complete mouse and keyboard support with customizable keybindings, as well as full DualSense controller integration, complete with haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. Additionally, a variety of audio support options are available, including 3D Audio via Dolby Access, DTS Sound Unbound, and Windows Sonic for Headphones.
