Gnosia Game Gets iOS, Android Releases

Playism and Petit Depotto Release Gnosia RPG on iOS and Android

Publisher Playism and game developer Petit Depotto announced on Sunday the release of their Gnosia sci-fi social deduction RPG on iOS and Android devices. The game is a one-time paid release with no in-app purchases. The smartphone versions feature touch and swipe controls, maintaining the essence of the previous releases.

Gnosia initially launched for PlayStation Vita in Japan in 2019, followed by a port to Nintendo Switch in 2020. Playism digitally released the game for Nintendo Switch in North America in 2021 and for PC via Steam in January 2022. The game then expanded its reach, launching worldwide for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S in December 2023.

Describing the game, Playism paints a vivid picture of the intense gameplay: “Let’s walk and talk. Can you get up? The Gnosia lie. Pretending to be human, they’ll get in close, trick and deceive, and then eradicate each person in the vicinity from the universe, one victim at a time.”

The television anime adaptation of Gnosia premiered on October 11 on various Japanese networks and is also available for streaming on platforms like ABEMA and d Anime Store. Crunchyroll offers the series in Japanese with an English dub. The second “Truth Arc” began on January 10, leading to a captivating storyline that kept viewers on the edge of their seats.

Furthermore, Gnosia is set to inspire a stage play adaptation from August 21 to September 6 at the Hikosen Theater in Tokyo, with all 21 performances being livestreamed for a wider audience to enjoy.

With its gripping narrative and engaging gameplay, Gnosia continues to captivate audiences across different platforms, solidifying its position as a standout RPG in the gaming world.
