GameNative adds multi-frame generation to PC games on Android devices, unlocking up to 100 fps gameplay — Vulkan version of Lossless Scaling boosts performance

Android PC Gaming Gets a Boost with Multi-Frame Generation

Android PC gaming is slowly gaining traction, thanks to apps like GameNative and GameHub that allow Android gamers to play PC games on their mobile devices. Now, Android users can enjoy PC-centric gaming features, including multi-frame generation.

A recent update to the GameNative Android app has introduced support for Lossless Scaling’s multi-frame generation technology. This technology works differently on GameNative compared to a traditional Windows desktop PC. Users must enable frame generation on a per-game basis in the GameNative container settings and download the app through their Steam account.

While some users have reported smooth gameplay at over 60 FPS on high-end devices like the liquid-cooled RedMagic 11 Pro, not everyone has access to such hardware. GameNative is among a few Android apps that can run PC games and includes the necessary translation layers for compatibility.

However, our recent tests of GameNative revealed some issues with driver and API support, indicating that there may be room for improvement in the app’s performance.
