Data Pack Version 93.1

Item Components

Default Item Components

Food properties have been added to the following fish bucket items:

  • <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>minecraft:cod_bucket
  • <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>minecraft:salmon_bucket
  • <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>minecraft:pufferfish_bucket
  • <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>minecraft:tropicalfishbucket

<span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>minecraft:use_effects

A new field <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>interactvibrations has been added, determining whether using this item emits <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>minecraft:iteminteractstart and <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>minecraft:iteminteractfinish game events, with a default value of <span class="MCEffect_TextHighlightA”>true.

Loot Tables

The removal of <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>contents as a supported value for the <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>minecraft:dynamic loot pool entry has been reverted.

Developer’s Note: This value was previously removed due to the introduction of slot sources. However, community feedback indicated that some use cases were not fully addressed, leading to this reversion until suitable alternatives are developed.

Resource Pack Version 74.0

  • Textures for still water and lava are now hardcoded to <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>minecraft:block/waterstill and <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>minecraft:block/lavastill.
  • To facilitate future developments, a warning will be printed if any defined sprites in atlases share a name.
  • The block model and state format has been expanded to accommodate additional rotations.

Textures

  • Beacons will no longer support translucent textures.
  • A new texture <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>gui/container/nautilus has been added for the Nautilus inventory UI.

UI Sprites

  • The <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>container/slot/nautilusarmorinventory icon has been introduced for the Nautilus inventory UI.

Sound Events

  • The sound event <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>entity.zombie_horse.eat has been added.

Block Models

  • Block model elements can now be rotated around multiple axes:
    • Models will first rotate around X, then Y, and finally Z.
    • New fields include:
      • <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>x – rotation around axis X in degrees, float, defaults to <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>0.0.
      • <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>y – rotation around axis Y in degrees, float, defaults to <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>0.0.
      • <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>z – rotation around axis Z in degrees, float, defaults to <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>0.0.
    • Existing fields <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>axis and <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>angle remain usable, with older notation taking precedence if both field sets are present.
  • The previous restriction limiting angle values to <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>[-45, 45] has been lifted, although names of faces remain unaffected by rotation.

Block State Model Dispatch

  • Variants in block state dispatch files can now also be rotated around the Z axis:
    • A new optional field <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>z has been added, with the same format as existing <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>x and <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>y fields.
    • Rotation around Z is applied after X and Y rotations.
