Mobile specialist Brightika is poised to make a significant leap into the realm of PC and console gaming, earmarking a substantial million investment over the next two years. This strategic move aims to bolster the indie game development scene, providing not just financial backing but also essential marketing and publishing support.
Expanding Horizons
With a track record of nearly 200 million installations across its suite of mobile titles, Brightika is no stranger to the gaming industry. The firm has built a reputation for helping mobile studios reach vast audiences and generate sustainable revenue. Now, under the vision of founder Alexander Rodichev, the company is set to replicate this success in the PC and console markets.
While Brightika has yet to disclose any specific partnerships within the PC and console gaming sectors, discussions are already underway with various development teams. Some of these promising titles may make their debut at the upcoming Steam Next Fest, scheduled for June 9th to 16th, providing an exciting platform for indie developers to showcase their work.
Rodichev emphasizes the importance of this venture, stating, “The next step for us is to bring that same level of marketing science and publishing discipline to the PC and console space, where developers often lack access to funding and distribution support.” This commitment to nurturing indie developers reflects Brightika’s broader mission to foster innovation and creativity within the gaming industry.
