Webtoon Series The Player Who Can’t Level Up Gets Console, PC Game

Tripearl Games is gearing up to bring the beloved webtoon, The Player Who Can’t Level Up, to life in a full-scale video game adaptation, set for release in 2026. Gamers can look forward to experiencing this action-packed title on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The development team has recently unveiled an official announcement trailer, showcasing the game’s dynamic combat mechanics, thrilling boss encounters, and cinematic flair.

Gameplay and Features

Utilizing the cutting-edge Unreal Engine 5, the game promises an immersive experience with no loading screens and complete camera control. A unique aspect of this adaptation is the introduction of a new side story, crafted in collaboration with the original creators of the webtoon. Players will follow the journey of Ki-gyu Kim, a protagonist who defies traditional leveling systems, relying instead on skill and strategic adaptation to navigate challenges.

The gameplay incorporates roguelite elements, featuring randomized “Ego Shards” and “Blessings” that allow players to explore various builds during each playthrough. Key features of the game include:

  • High-speed melee combat with multiple attack modes
  • Perk- and enhancement-based progression through repeated runs
  • A new original narrative designed for both existing fans and newcomers
  • Stunning 3D visuals powered by Unreal Engine 5
  • Emphasis on replayability with randomized upgrades and skills

For those eager to join the adventure, The Player Who Can’t Level Up is currently available for wishlisting on Steam. The original webtoon, illustrated by Tae_A, began serialization in 2021 and has since garnered over 210 million views worldwide, dominating webtoon rankings on platforms such as Kakao Page, Piccoma, and Tapas.

Fans can also enjoy the English version of the webtoon on Tapas, while the English translation of the web novel, penned by GaVinGe, is accessible on Wuxia World.
