X is reportedly gearing up for a significant update aimed at enhancing the user experience for its Android audience. Alongside this anticipated interface overhaul, the platform is also introducing limited-time discounts on its premium subscription services. Over the past few months, X has been experimenting with various layouts and pricing strategies, and recent leaks indicate that a fresh UI update is being rolled out via an older version of its Android app.
New X Android Interface Spotted
According to tech tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd), the new interface is being made available through the older 11.42.0-release.0 build of the Android app. Users with this version can reportedly access the updated layout via a hidden menu within the app. By following a few simple steps, those with the older version installed may be able to manually activate the new design.

To explore the new interface, users can tap on their profile icon, select the NEW X ANDROID option, and then choose Try it now. Once activated, the app is expected to transition to the redesigned layout that has been under internal testing. However, it appears that this rollout is currently limited, as not all users have access to the new feature just yet.
X Premium and Premium+ Get Promotional Pricing
In a related development, Yadav also revealed a promotional offer for X Premium and Premium+ subscriptions. As part of X’s celebration for its Premium service’s third anniversary, the platform is reportedly offering the first month of Premium for just (or Rs 100 in India). The Premium+ plan is also being introduced at a promotional price of (or Rs 890 in India) for the first month, with the offer set to last until December 2, 2025.
In India, the regular pricing structure for X subscriptions remains unchanged. The Basic plan is available for Rs 170 per month, while the Premium plan costs Rs 427 per month on the web and Rs 470 per month on mobile. The Premium+ tier is priced at Rs 2,570 per month on the web and Rs 3,000 per month on mobile.
