Indie game developer Studio Saizensen, in collaboration with publisher Nicalis, has announced the highly anticipated Western release of Cats Away, set to launch on July 10, 2025. Following its successful debut in Japan in 2023, the game is now poised to captivate audiences on PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, and PS5.

In this enchanting maritime adventure, players join three sisters—Kanna, Lilia, and Alicia—alongside their loyal feline companions. The journey begins at the port where their father’s ship is docked, but when he fails to appear and the ship comes under attack, the sisters are thrust into a world filled with pirate guilds, a sinister cat-hating syndicate, ancient magic, and colossal mutated creatures. Their quest is not just about survival; it’s also about uncovering their father’s greatest secret.
As players navigate the high seas, they will manage their ship’s crew and resources, steering through combat scenarios while issuing commands to outmaneuver enemies. Between battles, there are opportunities to dock at various ports, upgrade weapons and equipment, forge alliances, and learn new skills.
