EDB Postgres AI Summit Seoul 2026

Notably, IBK Industrial Bank of Korea will discuss the intricate process of migrating 15 core systems to PostgreSQL, while a prominent domestic semiconductor company will share insights on diversifying Massively Parallel Processing (MPP) databases on a Database as a Service (DBaaS) platform, alongside the adoption of the next-generation data warehouse, ‘WarehousePG.’ Additionally, Kyobo Book Centre will outline its enterprise database modernization strategy and the journey of open-source migration.
Shopcast, a retail tech innovator, will present its experience in developing an ‘Agentic Lakehouse’ that integrates cutting-edge AI technology with a data lakehouse framework. This initiative exemplifies the seamless connection between data storage, processing, and AI application, allowing AI agents to explore data and conduct analytical tasks effectively.
The keynote address will be delivered by Kim Deok-joong, Director of the PUB AI Research Institute and Adjunct Professor at Sookmyung Women’s University. His presentation, titled “The Future of Work and Organizations Transformed by Agent AI,” will delve into the organizational management strategies essential for integrating AI agents as collaborative colleagues within corporate processes. With over two decades of experience in talent and organizational innovation at IBM Korea, Director Kim recently authored “How High-Performing Professionals Utilize AI.”
From vector search to PB-level analysis… Handling ‘AI-Ready Data Platforms’
The technical sessions will be organized into two tracks. EDB will elucidate the data infrastructure necessary for the AI era through the lens of an ‘AI-Ready Data Platform,’ demonstrating how to manage transactions, analytics, and AI workloads concurrently using PostgreSQL.
The main session will explore the architecture of the ‘EDB Postgres AI’ platform, which facilitates AI vector search and RAG. Attendees can expect a live demonstration of the analytics engine ClickHouse, alongside introductions to LakeHouse technology capable of analyzing petabyte-scale data and next-generation data warehousing solutions.
