Reburn, the independent games studio formerly recognized as 4A Games Ukraine, has unveiled its latest project, La Quimera. This narrative-driven science-fiction shooter is set against the backdrop of a futuristic Latin America and is powered by the renowned 4A Engine. While the game will be available for PC via Steam, the exact release date remains undisclosed.

La Quimera is a story-driven first-person shooter set in a dystopian future Latin America. In a fractured world where microstates rely on mercenary forces, you are an operative caught in a web of lies and deception. Play alone or with up to two friends, equipped with futuristic weapons, exoskeletons, and unique combat abilities.
Set in the year 2064, the majority of nation-states have vanished. A series of natural and human-induced catastrophes during the 2030s and 2040s triggered the collapse of global systems, leading to the fragmentation of human communities. In this new world, political entities have become microstates, often seeing little value in maintaining their own armies and instead depending on mercenary forces—the “golden age” of private military companies, or PMCs, has dawned.
As PMC operatives, players will engage in high-risk campaigns across a breathtaking megalopolis and lush jungles, armed with advanced weaponry and technology to battle rival factions.
