Croc 2 Kingdom of Gobbos Remaster Revealed
The remaster of Croc 2 Kingdom of the Gobbos promises to blend classic platforming action with contemporary enhancements, ensuring that both seasoned fans and new players can appreciate its timeless appeal. Originally launched in 1999 for PC and the PlayStation, the game garnered a following, despite receiving mixed reviews at the time.
In this sequel, players will once again step into the shoes of Croc, who embarks on a quest filled with adventure and challenges. The narrative unfolds as Professor Gobbo witnesses the resurrection of Baron Dante and is captured for knowing too much. Meanwhile, Croc discovers a message in a bottle revealing that his birth parents are searching for him, prompting him to venture to the mainland. However, this journey quickly escalates into a confrontation with Baron Dante, who seeks revenge against the crocodile hero.
Players can look forward to exploring four unique villages, rescuing captured Gobbos, and encountering a fresh cast of Guardians. All of Croc’s beloved moves from the original game return, but with exciting additions. The sequel introduces a triple jump mechanic, allowing Croc to reach new heights when necessary.
Moreover, the gameplay experience expands beyond traditional platforming. Players will have the opportunity to race in cars and speedboats, ride minecarts, soar through the air on a hang glider, and pilot a wooden airplane across more than 40 levels of open-ended 3D platforming.
